Sugarbabes is a London based Model agency and Media company, founded in 1998. We specialise in providing models for a diverse range of requirements, and create visually effective media, for clients in the UK and worldwide.
Our models are professionals in a full range of media: extensive magazine spreads, large scale stills for international and national advertising campaigns, editorials, as well as TV commercials, television and film, and internet based campaigns.
Sugarbabes models feature in GQ, FHM, I-D, Playboy and POP. Our models have been chosen for a variety of successful advertising campaigns, including those for companies Lynx, Agent Provocateur, Adidas, Gossard, Nike, Louis Vuitton, Carling and Vivienne Westwood.
Our diverse models have appeared on “Celebrity Big Brother”, “Big Brother”, “Britain’s Next Top Model”, “The Only Way is Essex” and various other television shows. The film world has always remained a veritable garden of possibility and our Sugarbabes have shown in, “Sherlock Holmes”, “RocknRolla”, “The Counsellor” and “Layer Cake”, amongst others.
Our Media arm specialises in the production and delivery of media especially featuring our models. We hold photographic shoots in-house, led by celebratory photographer Debbi Clark. Video productions are additionally a fully integrated output of our professional production team. Our New Media department is currently building and setting in place an on-line and interactive environment for our agency’s featured models.
Sugarbabes have syndicated photographic content to many major newspapers and magazines within the UK as well as worldwide. Our media department have produced TV documentaries featuring Sugarbabes models for Channel 4 and Sky television. Hey, don’t leave out consideration that we produced a 2006 England World Cup record, memorably entering the Top 40 charts… So we definitely know how to work hard, attain success and have fun in the process!
The creative force behind Sugarbabes is CEO and Founder Debbi Clark, involved in the modelling industry for 25 years. After her successful modelling career, Debbi applied knowledge of the industry and her entrepreneurial skills to launch Sugarbabes in 1998. Miss Clark’s unique and intense focus on all aspects of the Modelling industry led her to make time for a photography degree at the prestigious Central Saint Martins. Following this with the significant creative commitment that made her into one of the UK’s leading celebrity portrait photographers, Debbi held a major exhibition at the Strand Gallery London, 2013 – exhibiting portraits of Kate Moss, Damian Lewis, Paul Weller, Lord Snowdon and Sadie Frost amongst others.
With this innovative hybrid creation of becoming a successful modelling agency with its own in-house media company, Sugarbabes has ensured consistency for both clients and models, keeping well abreast of changes in the modelling world. Even as the industry feels the effects of recession and the dawn of the digital age, Sugarbabes has kept powering forward to create additional paths of revenue for our models. This includes the syndication of our media branch worldwide, together with a new and interactive online platform – pending its launch in 2014 – keeping our finger on the pulse.
